Overview

Site Overview is where you can find the project information after setting up your project in Site Configuration.  Based on the latitude and longitude, local design data can be pulled, including wind speed, seismic, and snow.  It is also where you can choose modules and inverters which will be in the project.  You can also set which weather source file to use for your project.

Note: All project data appearing in Site Overview is only for information purposes.  Conditions could vary for the project site and should be verified by the user.

General Information

This tab contains project information from Site Configuration. Utility provider data is pulled from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and elevation data is from 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) based on the latitude and longitude of the project.

Site Class and Risk Category are user inputs based on the location of the project and type of PV project, respectively. These inputs are not mandatory for creating a project.

Wind Conditions

Wind speed data is shown for the project based on the latitude and longitude set.  Wind speed data is pulled form 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) and the American Society of Civil Engineers ASCE 7-10.

Seismic Conditions

Seismic design data is pulled from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) based on the latitude and longitude of the project.

Snow Conditions
